Hands Maal

This history is about a Dutch artist, Hans Maal, who lived for seven years among the native American Indians in South Dakota.

Through the years he integrated in his own life elements present in the native American cultures. Nature became an essential source of inspiration in his work.

His paintings and drawings are artistic testimonies of the omnipresent strength of mother earth.

Hans Maal currently shares his time in Souther Europe and in the Netherlands.

ABOUT HIM:

Beside my education in the seventies on the Royal Academy of Arts in the Netherland, later I spent more than 7 years xxxxxxxxxx the North-América Lakota. Indians from America through their way of life, I began a part of it and adopted in a spiritual way to their ceremonies. Through this my work will be part of Tribial art.
